Our newly developed Exhibition ‘Half a World Away from Here, Our New Zealand Story’ presents a remarkably interesting and compelling story about Ulster people in New Zealand that deserves to be better known about and understood.
Our Exhibition display includes exhibits on John Ballance's life and career, Maori culture and the Ulster-New Zealand connection. Thanks to those who have kindly gifted family heirlooms.

Each professionally designed graphic panel, on an Ulster/New Zealand history theme, has a short informative script with five or six captioned images, in old monochrome or colour, together with good maps and a few interactives to illustrate the story. Library
Our library holds the largest range of New Zealand titles in Ireland. Contact us if you are looking for a particular title and we can check if it is part of our collection. We are always looking to add titles so if you have any New Zealand related books, let us know.
