This marvellous Maori carving is situated over the entrance door to the Cottage Room in The Ballance House which is likened to a Maori Meeting House known as a Wharenui.
Specially carved for display at The Ballance House, It specifically incorporates a Maori symbol in the bottom left corner and a celtic cross in the bottom right corner to represent Northern Ireland.
